Empowering Communities, Transforming Lives Founded in June 2010 and officially registered with the Department of Social Development on January 7, 2011, Usizo Support Organisation (registered under Section 12, Act of 71 of 1997) is a dedicated NGO/NPO committed to improving the lives of orphans, vulnerable children (OVC), and the elderly suffering from chronic diseases.
Our mission is to provide comprehensive community therapy, addressing the physical, psychological, and emotional needs of these individuals. Many of our beneficiaries have faced severe neglect and abuse at home and bullying at school. Recognizing these challenges, Usizo Support Organisation has taken proactive measures to create a safe and supportive environment for healing and growth.
One of our key initiatives is the implementation of skills training programs, including beadwork and the design of traditional attire. These programs not only preserve cultural heritage but also empower the OVCs with valuable skills and a sense of accomplishment. To date, nearly 150 children have benefited from our training programs, finding a renewed sense of purpose and community. We invite you to join us in our mission to uplift and empower those in need.
Your support can make a transformative difference in the lives of many.
